Description
Meadow sage flower infused oil is made from dried flowers collected from our Meadow sage. It is collected with the natural cycles of the Earth and Moon at the peak of their potency to ensure the best quality products. All of our herbs are grown naturally with no pesticides or chemical fertilizer.
We use Pure Sunflower oil from Colorado that is GMO free. Sunflower oil is a light oil with little fragrance and few allergens creating a finished product that focus on the plants used for infusing. We do not make an essential oil, these can be very volatile causing poor reactions. Instead we make an infused oil where the plant parts are covered in oil and left, much like a tincture is made using oil instead of an alcohol. This process is unique in that that oil soluble parts of the plant diffuse into the oil carrying the plants attributes into the oil. The oil is then strained leaving as little plant patter remaining in the oil. This creates an oil that has a longer shelf life, and is less likely to grow mold. The oil also carries the magickal attributes and some of the medicinal properties.
Meadow sage is Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) and the plant is used for its mild flavor.
